Web Development with an eye for Design

It's a Beautiful Thing

Looking for ordinary?
Move along.

That's right. We don't do 'ordinary' here.

We specialize in websites that meld custom graphic design and original or tailored software. No baggy, one-size-may-fit-some solutions. Just what you need, served up with excellent, one-on-one customer service you won't find in cold, corporate, mash-up programs that promise websites overnight.

We value our customers. There's no job too small to merit our attention.

In fact, long story short, you've got nothing to lose by giving us a call, so why not have a chat about what you need? There are real people here to answer your questions.

A thumbnail of the project Visit

Target Audience: Chambers of commerce looking to innovate

Theme: Modern color scheme and flow contrasted with antique photographs

Languages: PHP5, HTML5, CSS3, AS3

Summary: A thoroughly distinctive company image was combined with a sense of humor to market this content management and networking software package. Rather than take the traditional, staid business route, Little Tree CMNS opted to stand out from competitors at the outset by showing off their innovative and open-minded company culture.

. . . season posters . . .

A thumbnail of the project

Target Audience: General public

Theme: Tailored to each production

Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Summary: The challenge with creating 8 total posters for the 2012-2013 season at once for the theater was to combine the available graphic elements and all of the contract requirements into distinctively original poster designs --- and yet still evoke the temperament and personality of each production.

. . . tgb inc . . .

A thumbnail of the project Visit

Target Audience: Business people of varying technical backgrounds

Theme: Dark with splashes of colorful photos

Languages: PHP5, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery

Summary: TGB Inc. wanted to step up their marketing with a new company image and integration with social networking. The result is a clearly defined company direction, and a site rich with information and a search-engine-pleasing blog. The content for the site was based on original copy, but we transformed and added to it to get the right mix.

. . . ole frog eyes . . .

A thumbnail of the project Visit

Target Audience: Quilters

Theme: Lighthearted with a dash of whimsy

Languages: PHP5, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript

Summary: Ole Frog Eyes is a subscription-based virtual design wall for quilters. As users complete each new block to a quilt, they can upload a photo of the block and share their progress in a preview with friends and family by linking with the widget feature.

. . . seas . . .

A thumbnail of the project Visit

Target Audiences: Engineers and potential customers

Theme: Open and clean

Languages: PHP5, HTML5, CSS3, AS3 (Flash), jQuery

Summary: The clients needed an upgrade to an existing site, and wanted something with a bit of movement --- but just a bit. Although some of the copy was already written and approved, we needed to expand on it in such a way as to appeal to both the old troopers and the uninitiated.

. . . pickens county historical society . . .

A thumbnail of the project Visit

Target Audience: History buffs

Theme: Antique photographs

Languages: PHP5, HTML5, CSS3

Summary: Since the Pickens County Historical Society is largely dependent on donations for their web presence, they hadn't had an update in years. The goal for this project was to make a stable site with a few pages which could be updated quickly and easily. The site features static pages as well as pages and an event calendar which are updated via custom CMS software.

. . . hearts for paws . . .

A thumbnail of the project Visit

Target Audience: Pet owners and families

Theme: Fun and friendly with relaxed fonts and design

Languages: PHP5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

Summary: Hearts for Paws pet-sitting service needed a simple brochure website for referrals and new customers to gather information and be reassured of the quality of care their pets would receive. The design is light-hearted and simple with a strong emphasis on comfort and safety through the textures, graphics, photos, and fonts that were used.
